यूँ तो रहा वो हरदम शिखर पर,

पर मेहनत जमीं से ही लगाया होगा।

लड़खड़ा कर सम्हाल लिया वो खुद को,

जब माँ को बचपन में उसने गंवाया होगा।

सपने हज़ार संजोए वो चकाचौंध के,

सपनो के शहर जब आया होगा।
